  3. No lists about rain!
  4. Allmusic rools, death to all what appose. :)
  5. No %$#^%&# advertisements!
  6. Start a conversation yourself, do not demand that others entertain you.
  7. Ask not what ALLMUSIC can do for you....etc.
  8. Noise = music = language = virus = headache = long threads.
  9. Be ye excellent to one another.
  10. Post not 8 thousand one line messages with no attributed text or Re:.
  11. Post not the entire 10 page article you liked with "Me too".
  12. Give not thy listserv admin a migraine.
  13. The older the hat, the bigger the clout.
  14. Newbies taste good with ketchup.
  15. Libby knows all the synonyms for "penis" that exist. This is good.
  16. We're multi-national! Yippee! Haven't had any good Farsi chats today.
  17. X ROOLS Y SUX = U R A moron, or at least limited to simple sentences.
  18. ALL CAPS MEANS YOU ARE SHOUTING. SHUT THE %$#@ UP, please. Or type nice.
  19. Using the word "cyberpunk" gets you smited.
  20. Stop, look, and read before jumping in all excited-like. Please.
  21. Have a good time all the time, but not at others' expense.
  22. All music = all music. If you don't like banjos, well, tough $#@%.
  23. We are not your reference library.
  24. Personal messages = hit "R", messages to the universe = "F" on a newsreader. In mail, make sure you don't send private mail to "ALL".
  25. Vinnie may or may not be God, but no one will tell us why he is good.
  26. Concert reviews are welcomed.
  27. CD/vinyl/cassette/music video reviews are welcome.
  28. Asking us to form your opinion for you is not welcome.
  29. Arguments are rarely personal. Keep the ad hominem stuff to yourself.
  30. Have fun.
