Raves are a whole lot less interesting than rants. Nevertheless, there are people and
organizations and products that have done terrific things and deserve to have some of the thankless bastards on
the net say, "Way to go." As with the rants, don't attribute a rave to a member of the family unless
he or she has signed up to it.
Sunburst Records at the corner of Jordan Lane and Holmes Avenue in Huntsville is a rare jewel, as is its
owner Jay. Not only are there standard low prices on everything, but after Jay gets to know you, he'll tell you
what you might like and what to avoid. He doesn't hesitate to say that the latest release by a big-selling artist
is disappointing, and if you ask him which CDs he recommends from an artist, more often than not he'll say that
a CD he doesn't have is better than one he has in stock. It'd be a crime not to support Jay and leave our musical
choices in the hands of Camelot and Blockbuster. If Sunburst has it, you should buy it there. And if they don't
have it, and you can stand the wait, you should order it. -- Bob
