A WeekEnd Theme (WET) is a little Web3D project that's just for fun. Each Friday night, the WET Cabal will
announce a theme on comp.lang.vrml, which can be a subject or an incomplete VRML world or 3D model.
Deadline is Sunday night -- but nobody's being strict about that. Hopefully you'll finish your WET before the
next one is posted.
Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to take the theme and make whatever you like out of it. The rules
are:
- The result has to be viewable in 3D over the Web. That usually means VRML, ActiveWorlds, Viscape, or a similar
3D format. No 2D images.
- The final file (with textures) should be smaller than Sid and the Penguins (the fabulous VRML world premiered
at SIGGRAPH 98 that's 10 MB and makes just about everybody's machine halt and catch fire).
- That's it. There are no more rules. Use any tools you like, or no tools. If you want to, include a section
in a WorldInfo node or a comment on how you made it.
When you're done, email me the URL or post
it to comp.lang.vrml and I'll link to it here.
